Western Ag
Central Avenue, Sutherland District, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
2022

Located on a prominent Central Avenue facade, the mural needed to visually represent Western Ag's role in agricultural technology while responding to the surrounding urban streetscape. The challenge was to integrate themes of innovation and sustainability without overwhelming the building's identity.
I developed a composition that blends abstract figures, geometric structures, and organic floral elements to express coexistence between the built environment and natural systems. Angular and flowing forms mirror the relationship between architectural rigidity and organic growth, while a restrained yet vibrant palette ensures the mural complements its setting. Painted with Belton Premium spray paint, the work subtly reinforces themes of collaboration, growth, and mutual benefit.
