Home Hardware
Central Avenue, Sutherland Neighborhood, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
2022

The mural needed to acknowledge Home Hardware's long-standing presence in the neighborhood without leaning into overt commercial imagery. The goal was to create a contemporary work that felt rooted in place and reflective of the surrounding community.
I developed a composition inspired by the adjacent garden center and the architectural palette of the building. Using arches, botanical forms, and representations of local wildlife, the mural acts as a visual extension of the space. A vibrant yet earthy color palette complements the red and beige tones of the facade, creating a welcoming presence that reinforces the idea of Home Hardware as a neighborhood anchor.
