Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Learning Technologies

Learning Technologies needed a clear way to communicate the layout and potential of a new media studio to decision makers before any construction or equipment purchases were approved. Static floor plans and lists of hardware were not enough to show how the space would actually feel and function for teaching and content production.
I built a detailed 3D mockup of the media studio in Blender, including walls, workstations, lighting, cameras, and key equipment. The layout focused on sightlines, movement, and realistic gear placement so stakeholders could understand how the room would be used. I then exported the scene to a web-friendly format and set up an interactive walkthrough using a WebGL viewer, allowing the team to explore the room, review the layout, and use the visualization as a focal point in funding and planning discussions.
