For years, I’ve been bridging the gap between physical muralism and digital experiences. My murals aren’t just paint on a wall; they are portals to augmented reality (XR). But when it came to my own portfolio site, I often felt limited by the tools available to a non-engineer. I knew how I wanted the site to feel—immersive, dynamic, and technically sophisticated—but I needed a partner who could translate that artistic vision into high-performance code.
Enter the next generation of AI tools. This site isn’t just about my work; it’s a testament to the collaborative power of Antigravity, Google AI Studio (Gemini), Claude (Claude Code), and ChatGPT.
Building this site wasn't about 'generating' code and walking away. It was a rigorous, iterative dance between my design intuition and the engineering precision of these AI agents.
- **Antigravity & Google AI Studio**: Antigravity (powered by Gemini) acted as the lead architect. It understood the complex relationship between my 3D models and the React frontend. When we needed to integrate @google/model-viewer for immersive 3D previews, Antigravity handled the nuances of SSR-safety that often trip up standard builds.
- **Claude & Claude Code**: When the logic got deep—like refactoring our custom GSAP animation hooks or optimizing the image-loading pipeline—Claude provided the surgical precision needed to ensure everything felt 'buttery smooth.'
- **ChatGPT**: My creative sparring partner. We spent hours iterating on the brand voice and the conceptual framing of 'environmental activations,' ensuring the site’s copy matched the ambition of the visuals.
The real test of this AI-augmented workflow came during deployment. We initially faced a 'blank screen' crisis on Vercel because of how Puppeteer-based pre-renderers handled system dependencies. Most people would have given up or reverted to a basic SPA. Instead, I worked with Antigravity to architect a custom, manual Static Site Generation (SSG) pipeline. We abandoned the standard plugins and wrote our own server-entry logic and pre-rendering scripts.
My art has always been about 'Beyond the Surface.' Now, my ability to create has also gone beyond the surface. These tools didn't replace my skill; they multiplied it. I’m no longer just a muralist who commissions developers—I’m an augmented creator who can build the immersive digital worlds I previously only dreamed of.
The pixels you see on this screen, the way the 3D models rotate as you scroll, and the speed at which this page loaded—they are all the result of a human artist empowered by a suite of intelligent agents. Welcome to the future of creative engineering.
